针刺手法
针刺时通常采用斜刺或平刺的方式，进针深度控制在0.3至0.5寸之间。治疗时患者可能会感觉到针刺部位有酸胀感。由于面部血管分布密集，操作手法需要格外轻柔避免出血。

穴位解说
巨髎穴最早记载于1700年前的《针灸甲乙经》，属于八脉交会穴中的一员（这类穴位能调节多条经脉的气血运行），主要用于治疗面部疾病。在明代《针灸大成·卷六》中也有相关记载。
《针灸甲乙经》记载：巨髎穴位于鼻孔外侧八分的位置（约等于现代1.6厘米），与瞳孔垂直对齐。这个穴位是跷脉和足阳明胃经的交会处。针刺深度为三分。主要治疗面部怕风怕冷、肿胀疼痛、抽搐、口眼歪斜等症状。
《针灸大成·卷六》记载：该穴位可改善视力模糊甚至失明、看远处景物模糊不清、眼睛表面形成白色混浊物覆盖瞳孔等情况，还能缓解脚气病引起的膝盖肿胀。
《针灸甲乙经》：
“巨髎，主鼻渊，口歪。”
《针灸大成》：
“治面风，鼻塞不利。”
